How to Connect

Whether you’re connecting with your favorite smartphone device or laptop, getting Internet access is easy with iPass.

Quick steps for connecting to a hotspot:
(When auto-connect is not available.)

1. Go to a location with Wi-Fi access.
2. Make sure Wi-Fi is active on your laptop or smartphone device.
3. Launch the iPass client (Open Mobile or iPassConnect).
4. The iPass client will display your available wireless networks. Select the one you wish to connect with.
5. Enter your ID and password when prompted and click Connect/OK.
6. You will briefly see a message on the bottom right of your screen: “You are now connected to the Internet.
7. If using iPassConnect, the iPass icon in your system tray will animate once you are connected to the network.
